About  Team Asha

Team Asha  is one of the premier endurance sports training programs in the United States. It provides personalized coaching, motivation and support for individuals with a life goal to run or walk an official marathon or half marathon.

Facts about Team Asha Runners:

• Team Asha comprises of various professionals in the hi-tech industry, doctors, lawyers, students, stay-at-home moms and accomplished athletes.
• One does not have to be an accomplished athlete, or at peak fitness level to join the team. In fact, over 80% of Team Asha runners are new to running or any form of endurance sports.
• Roughly 40% of Team Asha runners are women
• Our runners and walkers range from 22 to over 60 years of age
• Our track record speaks for itself – success rate of over 99% with athletes who have completed the training program

About  spring run : 5k and 10k

After a successful debut in 2007, Team Asha - Silicon Valley is organizing, for the third consecutive year, a Spring Run/Walk & carnival. We have two categories of run/walk - 5k and the 10k.
There will be games, face painting, food stall, fun and frolic. So please get your family and your supporters along. They can cheer you as well as have fun at the carnival while you run. Spring run is the curtain raiser for the official '09 Marathon training season, starting in April 2009.

Registrations for the 2009 marathon training program will be available on the race day. All proceeds from the spring run go to Asha for Education, Silicon Valley.
